My dear Elizabeth
I am dreadfully ashamed of not having answered your letter. I didn’t answer at once, as our plans were uncertain, and then the excitement of the election put it out of my head.
We are going to N. Wales for a fortnight in August, but have no plans to be away any other time. Would it possible for Peter and Conrad and me to come for the week-end of Sp. 9, perhaps Friday to Monday? Peter can’t come without Conrad. If you haven’t room for us all, perhaps you could manage some of us?
The election results were glorious.
I hope you can forgive me for being so remiss.
Love from us both.
Yrs. aff.
B.R.
