Dear Kate
I saw Dr. Gillespie yesterday (I couldn’t see him sooner, as I had flu) and thought him most agreeable and intelligent, not wedded to any particular orthodoxy, and listening receptively to whatever he was told. He said he would arrange for you to see him, and I hope you will find it easy to talk to him. I think merely talking may be useful. He may pass you on to another Dr. for special investigations. I told him I would be responsible for the expense, but you can pay me any part of it that you can manage without too much difficulty.
Much love
