Dear Gilbert
I forgot to mention the most satisfactory feature of my New York trouble. I was accused of being “lewd, lecherous, lascivious, obscene, and aphrodisiac”, and was found guilty under all five counts. The last pleased me, as I cannot think of any predecessors except Apuleius and Othello.
