Dear Sir Stanley,
Thank you for your letter and the enclosed agreement for Freda Utley.
I am sorry that I do not quite understand why you sent this to me to save time. Do you intend me to send it to Freda? If so I am sorry I cannot do so as I have not heard from her for some weeks and she is at present in Germany. I have sent messages to her by my husband, who left for Berlin this morning and hopes to see her. Meanwhile I will get in touch with Mrs. Degrasb who may have heard more recently from Freda.
My husband would be willing to write a short preface. When would it be wanted?
Yours sincerely,
<signed> Patricia Russell.
