I consulted Newton of the B.B.C., who is in charge of the Reith Lectures, on the question of expanding them for publication by you, and he said he would go into the matter and let me know the decision of the B.B.C.

I think I could easily make the length up to 40,000, but to go beyond that I am afraid would involve a good deal of work.
