Dear Unwin
I have too much on hand to undertake an introduction to Planck. He is of course immortal for having invented h, but otherwise he is rather antiquated. But you should, I think, get the opinion of a physicist.
I am very sorry indeed that I forgot to answer you about Britten.a I read his stuff carefully; perhaps he would like to show you what I wrote to him. In confidence to you, I think his thesis is unsound, and I think his book would have a very small sale. Nevertheless, I think he shows a lot of ability, and I hate to see so much work wasted. If I were both a millionaire and a publisher, I should print it.
I learn that four Czech copies of Freedom and Organizationb have been sent me. I find these foreign copies of my books only a nuisance, and I should be glad if you could get them disposed of in the countries with the appropriate languages. The publishers in the respective countries could decide on the recipients.
Yours sincerely
Russell
