Thank you for your nice letter. Certainly the printers have been very quick, and nevertheless very accurate. I don’t know whether you or a reader on your behalf has looked at the book, but I do not think it can be as popular as the History, since it is a good deal more difficult.

For an endorsement, I suggest Lord Samuel, and perhaps Professor H.H. Price, unless you would prefer Gilbert Murray.

Is there hope of the reprint of the History during the coming year?
