I do not want to make again the mistake of assigning rights twice over, so I enclose Simon and Schuster’s draft contract, which I have not yet signed. I shall be grateful if you will let me know whether it contains anything objectionable to you. I am telling them I cannot deliver the MS so soon, and suggesting 25 March, 1948.
