Dear Unwin
I hope the enclosed is satisfactory to you. If there is anything in it that you wish altered please let me know.
Readers of the American edition of my HISTORY have pointed out a certain number of misprints and slips.1 I do not know whether there will be any opportunity for making corrections before you embark upon a reprint. None of the points are very important, so that I should not much mind if it were impossible, but if a convenient opportunity should arise I should be glad to avail myself on it.
Yours sincerely
<signed> Bertrand Russell.

a certain number of misprints and slips There is no master list of corrections, but they kept arriving from readers and were forwarded to Unwin. The last known revisions were made for the reset edition of 1961. The US edition seems to have remained forever unaltered (a.g., Hitler’s lack of a year of death in the Index).
