Dear Warder
Thank you for your two letters. Nearly 2000 copies is very satisfactory for such a book as the Inquiry; so is the agreement for the Spanish rights.
I am sorry about the Henry Hart matter. The book is being got up by Barnes, and I am afraid I was partly responsible for his going to you — merely through my saying what a good publisher you are! I hope this may be forgiven me.
The Walpole book has not yet reached me. I will read it as soon as I can.
Yours sincerely
Bertrand Russell.
P.S. Book by Walpole just arrived. I am grateful for notice on flap. I have seen hardly any reviews of Inquiry; could you send me some?
