Tomorrow, under separate cover, I am mailing to you the typescript of the Power book. I am sorry that here and there it is less tidy than I could wish, but I thought you would prefer getting it sooner to having it delayed by re-typing. It is quite clear everywhere.

I am afraid it is not quite 100,000 words, but it is not far short. I don’t like to add padding. You will see that the book is greatly changed, and that I have taken account of all your suggestions. I very much hope it will please you.
