Thank you very much for your letter of Sp. 17. I am delighted that you like the project for “The Science of Power”. I have written out practically the whole of the first draft of it, as I am to begin lecturing on it at the School of Economics in a few days. With any luck, I shall finish it in time for autumn publication next year, but I cannot be sure yet.

I don’t think “Language and Fact” has got to the stage for a contract yet.
