Dear Wardoura
I am sending herewith the typescript of my book. It occurred to me that you might like “The Child and the State” as a title, but if not, let your previous suggestion stand. If you prefer, as before, to print from Allen and Unwin’s corrected proofs, I am quite willing, and I do not mind counting the moment when you receive the proofs as the moment when you receive the MS. (You may remember a question which arose on this point last year; this year I am less penniless.)
You may wish to cut out some passages which I inserted chiefly to please myself; e.g. a passage about Ruritania on p. 72. At the bottom of p. 53 there is a statement which you may consider unduly offensive to Catholics, but I hope not, as it is an exact statement of the truth.
All best wishes.
Yours cordially
Bertrand Russell.
