My Beloved
I wonder how you are today — I am afraid you will be tired and a little sad. I hope not. Dear one, I wonder if you know at all how tremendous our time together Friday was to me — it has deepened what I feel for you immeasurably. I believe now that I may have something to give that may be of some value to you — before, I felt as if you had so much that I could never be important to you. And apart from that selfish feeling, I love you a thousand times more deeply because of all you felt that evening. I know it is the beginning of a wonderful growth in you. Don’t let me dominate you — be sure your thoughts are your own and belong to your nature — no one else can do one’s thinking for one. I have some instinct towards mental domination, but I hate it.
I have only a moment so goodbye my dearest loved one. I send you all my heart and a thousand thousand tender thoughts.
