Dear Sir,

In reply to your letter of September 12th, I enclose a prospectus of Beacon Hill School. The school is a boarding-school, though we have on occasion taken day pupils.

The fees are $600 for the year. This covers all expenses except individual music lessons and riding lessons, which are optional. Class teaching of music is not an extra, but only individual teaching. There is a fortnightly medical inspection for which no charge is made, but when a child has an illness needing special attention, the fees are charged to the parents.

This year our autumn term begins on October 3rd, but as a rule it begins somewhat earlier. We are willing to keep children during the Christmas and Easter holidays, if desired, and for this we make a charge of $13 per week.

An American child needs a passport in order to land in England, but there are no regulations as to length of stay.
