This letter appears to be by Charles Seelig, as the handwriting in this letter is the same as the handwriting of Charles Seelig found in record 85870. But, the signature on this letter is different from Charles Seelig's signature in record 85870. The letterhead of both letters has the printed name "Carl Seelig". Despite the difference in names and signatures, Carl and Charles must be the same person.

"All your writings and utterances are of wisdom and not [?] all compact [?]. They have many noble qualities, especially your emphasis on exact thinking and kindly feelings! and the greatest of these is clarity! With high regard and affectionate greetings."

There is a brief courtesy note from Schuster to BR at the head of the letter.
