Dear Bob
Thank you very much for Windfalls. I have read a good deal of it with great pleasure. Your memories of Seatoller revive mine. As you may remember from the time, 45 years ago, when I kept you from the Turkish bath, I can’t agree with you about English quantitative verse; otherwise, I like all you say about poetry. Also about conversation.
I am terribly occupied. I have been this summer to the Hague and Sweden; I am going to Amsterdam, Norway, and Berlin, S.V. [Stalinio volente] In between, I have to prepare lectures suitable to those different audiences.
Much love to Bessie and yourself<.>
