Dear Mr. Amstutz,

I am writing to inform you of the recently formed Peace Foundations, the Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation and its subsidiary the Atlantic Peace Foundation. I enclose some literature concerning them. As you can see our plans our most ambitious.

It is our hope that we shall be able to secure very widespread individual financial support in the form of covenants of a set amount for a set period of time. This will be sought simultaneously with our accumulation of large sums. In this way, I am confident that we shall advance quickly towards the achievement of our more ambitious aims. I hope you can assist this and contribute. If you are able to suggest other people who might be willing to support the Foundations financially, we shall be pleased to send them brochures.
