Dear Miss Arbuthnot
Thank you for the scripts on punishment. O’Sullivan is an illogical monster. Obviously the increase of juvenile crime is due to the war. If, for many years, almost all ministers of religion preach that killing is a young man’s supreme duty, some may believe them, but it is unfair to attribute the result to a decay of religion. However, I don’t suppose the B.B.C. would like me to say this. I will send my script on Monday or Tuesday, and remember your suggestions.
Yours sincerely
Russell.
