BR thanks Schuck for her letter of 1950/03/29 (record 65418) and for her kindness in helping him find lecturing appointments elsewhere. BR doesn't like the title "Can Hydrogen Think?", even if he suggested it, and requests they change it to "The Physical Conditions of Thinking" or something similar if they don't object.

Dear Dr. Schuck
Thank you for your letter of March 29, and for your kindness in regard to lectures elsewhere. Did I really suggest “Can hydrogen think?” I don’t like this title, even if I did suggest it; there seems to me something flashy and meretricious about it. I should prefer “the physical conditions of thinking” or some such title, if you don’t object.
Yours sincerely
Bertrand Russell.
