Thank you very much for your kind letter, which I got on landing today. I should love to stay with you, and also to see Jackie again — I miss her at Telegraph. At the moment I am off to Boston, and have not had time to know whether I am on my head or my heels. May I write again when I return from Boston, and suggest a definite date, if you really don’t mind my inflicting myself? It will be delightful to see you again.
