10th June 1930.
Dear Celeste,
I enclose copy of a letter from Dr. Taylor, who does the medical inspection of Beacon Hill School, recommending certain measures for the prevention of diphtheriaa and scarlet fever, and for diminishing the severity of influenza.
I should be glad to know whether you wish any or all of these measures to be taken in the case of Jackie. I may say that I propose to adopt them in the case of my own children, but I know that there is slight divisionb of opinion in regard to them, though not, I gather, so much in the medical profession as elsewhere.
In case you decide in favour of any or all of these measures, they could, of course, be done in term time by Dr. Taylor or in holiday time by your own doctor, as you might prefer.
Yours,
<signed> Bertrand Russell.
