Dear Céleste
Dr. Cardan, who is replacing Dr. Taylor at the moment, has given us the addresses of two T.B. specialists, one in London, one in Alton. They are:
Dr. R.A. Young, C.B.E., M.D. {Sept 47.12 oz | Dec 20th 46:14 oz | Grown ½ inch}a
57 Harley Street, W.1.
[Tel. Langham 1467]
Sir Henry Gauvain2
Treloar Home, Alton, Hants.
Your Arthurian proclivities may incline you to the latter; otherwise the Londoner would be more convenient.
I hope Jackie’s ear did not go on hurting. If it did, of course it would have to be looked at. We have been having trouble with Judith’s ear, but it seems to be clearing up. I am in bed with bronchitis. Dora is in town because her man has just had a very dangerous operation and no one knows yet whether he will live. So altogether life is quite gay.
I hope the New Year will bring you every happiness.
Yours ever
B.R.
