Dear Professor Perry

I find the Mauretania sails on March 7, which is the earliest day I can sail. That being so, I can be fairly certain of lecturing on Sat. 14, as I suppose I shall reach New York on Thursday or Friday. So perhaps it would be better to have the room at the Colonial Club from the 13th. I am much obliged to you for engaging it.

It seems to me it would be best to put in New York Baltimore and Princeton during the week April 19–26, and to go West (if at all) after the Harvard lecturing ends. If the Western places can have lectures as late as that, I should like to go; but I could not go unless the lecturing could be managed. The plan of going West Apr. 19–26 and making night trips to New York Baltimore and Princeton seems to me too tiring.

I have much pleasure in accepting your kind invitation for dinner on March 17 to meet the members of the Department.

Yours very truly
Bertrand Russell.
