Dear Professor Perry

Would you be so kind as to let me know on what date my work at Harvard will be over? I wish to know for the purpose of booking my passage back, as that is a time when there is a rush. I cannot find out from the Harvard Register, which has been sent me, because I do not know whether I am to take any part in the examining etc., or am free as soon as lectures cease.

I think you will find that our opinions are more alike than they have seemed on the question of realism.
