Dear Professor Perry

I am very sorry I find that after all I cannot manage to get either to London or Paris just now without very great inconvenience and upsetting many arrangements. How long are you staying in Paris? If you are staying there into July I might possibly be able to manage something tho’ I am not sure. Will you not come back to England some time during July or August? If you could, any time then I should be most delighted to see you at Cambridge.

My address is always Trinity College Cambridge, as I have no fixed address abroad. With many regrets,

Yours sincerely
Bertrand Russell.
