BR is sending Murray most of the typescript of The Problems of Philosophy. The last chapter awaits writing. There is little metaphysics.

Dear Gilbert
I am sending you today the greater part of my treatise on philosophy for shop-assistants; the rest will follow quickly. There will be 3 more chapters — two are now being typed, the 3rd is not yet written. I think the total is about 46,000 words, so if you think any portion obscure from brevity, there will be room for some expansion. I couldn’t say much about metaphysics because so little of it seems to me true. I don’t know your address, but I suppose this will be forwarded from Oxford.
Love to Mary.
Yrs. ever
Bertrand Russell.
