OXFORD.

Dearest Alys

I am sorry I didn’t write yesterday — we were so full of work that it went out of my head. North has influenza, which is tiresome. I have hardly seen Evelyn as she has been nursing him. They are not going to Weimar till later. — I can’t go to the Pankhurst meeting at the Albert Hall, as it is for women only, so I think of going to Peckham tomorrow night; but I haven’t yet made up my mind. If I go, I shall sleep at Barton Str. I am glad thee and Val are going.

Thine aff
Bertie.
