BAGLEY WOOD,
OXFORD.
Wed.
Dearest Alys
Thanks for letters and book. I am frightfully busy, finishing up before going. I have just finished the Finite and the Infinite, and am now at the copying stage.
I had a pleasant walk with Lucy yesterday. Otherwise I have had no adventures. It is a comfort to think of thy getting such a good rest. I hope to profit by the downs.
Thine aff
Bertie.
Please give Xmas wishes to Miss Harrison
