My Darling —

I was so sad because I had not kissed you in leaving the taxi — I was distracted by John. All has gone well with me so far; the Teachers’ Labour League were nice people. This afternoon I have the heretics and tonight my first bout with Sorley, about which I am nervous. I shall be glad when it is over and I can come home. I long for our holiday in Paris. I hope you have plenty of workers and are getting on all right. Good luck to you. All love.
