Dearest Colette

Thank you for your letter.2 I am very sorry your paralysis3 is so slow in clearing up.

I enclose all the passages4 I could find that concerned you; I don’t think you will object to them, but if you do we must reach a compromise. It would be helpful if you could manage it fairly soon.

You do not tell me how you are off for money. If you are very poor I should be glad to know.

    sorry your paralysis Colette had written on 16 February 1967 (BRACERS 98503) that her left hand was still not functioning properly after the stroke she had suffered in November 1964. She could light a cigarette but not hold on to an egg cup.
