BR describes the location of Festiniog relatively to Blaenau Festiniog and Port Madoc (Portmadoc). The inn is the Pengwern Arms. The Russells' cottage will not be found on the map, but the big house next door, Bryn Llewelyn, will be.

My dearest Colette
Your letter of the 19th2 reached me yesterday. Festiniog is 3 miles from Blaenau Festiniog, along the road to Port Madoc;3 our cottage is a quarter of a mile from Festiniog, towards Port Madoc; the inn, the Pengwern Arms, is at our end of the village. You would not find our cottage on any map, but you might find Bryn Llewelyn, a big house next door. Festiniog is on a ridge between two mountain streams, the Taigh and the Cynval.
I am pretty sure the Pengwern Arms would have room for you at short notice, so I hope you will be able to come. I shall not be here after Sp. 30, as I am due in Oslo next day. After that, Berlin.4 I return to London on Oct. 27, unless the Russians catch me.
How stupid of Hansson5 to get such a bad translator!
I long to see you again, dearest Colette. Much love.
