My dear Colette

Thank you with all my heart for your letter.2

I shall be able to come up on March 25 unless I am prevented by something quite unexpected, such as an epidemic. I am writing to Priscilla3 to say I will come to dinner. Are you going to be staying with her?

Why don’t you come down here to visit Nickie?4 You could be put up for the night at the guest house,5 and after the children are in bed one could talk. I should like to see you before you go so far away,6 if it were possible.

B.

Dora is in USA, and will be back about March 10.
