I haven’t time for a proper letter now — All goes well. I wonder where you spent Xmas4 — I hope you got my wire.5

Miss Haydon Edith Haydon was forwarding BR’s mail from the Battersea flat he shared with Clifford Allen, who was in Cannes for his health. In March 1921 Haydon was living at 224 Queens Road, Battersea Park, but in a letter of 8 March 1921 (BRACERS 1506) to BR she expressed a desire to live with Clifford Allen.
