My Darling Love
Thank you for your letter4 — I am glad to be coming to Clacton5 — I have written to the Hotel for rooms — I dare say it is quite a nice place — nor far from Harwich — I go to Garsn. Sat. to Monday — our train goes from Liverpool Street 2.15 arr. Clacton 4.59} or {11.42 2.7. None between. I should prefer the earlier one but perhaps Vasco couldn’t be finished in time.6
I don’t yet quite know how long I can stay because of China business7 — but I shall know soon —
Miles8 came round last night and was very nice —
Goodbye Beloved — All my heart, my dearest Darling.
