My Beloved, my Cherub,
I wonder how you are and how you are getting on with Shakuntala4 — and how your spirits are — I hate to be no use to you at this time, and to feel cut off from you — but you know my spirit is with you, and that when you want me I am ready — When you are unhappy my world grows very grey, and I see everything in sombre colours — But courage — better times must come.
Am I to get seats for Shakuntala or can you get 2 for nothing? If you can’t, I will get them —
Good luck to you — All my love is with you, Dearest —
