My Heart’s Love

It was dear of you to send me that little note3 today — thank you, my Darling. I am glad when I can be some comfort to you, however momentary — it is well worth while, to me, being with you when you are unhappy, if I can bring you any relief.

I am very glad you think of going away after the 21st — where to? alone? If you wanted me, I could come for that week-end, but not longer. But I dare say it would be better for you to be alone?

When shall I see you again? I could come either Monday or Tuesday about 9.30 — possibly I could manage dinner Monday — All other evenings I am full except week-ends. Please ring up tomorrow morning.

Goodnight my loved one — Think of me sending out my spirit to you, full of strength and hope and tender thoughts. All my love surrounds you every moment.
