My Darling Love
Your telegram4 which came this morning decided me to wait till you have seen Bennett5 — I long to have you here — but I was afraid of Mrs. Watts’s6 temper — however, if you are nice to her when you come that will be all right! I enclose trains — please let me know which you will take and I will be at the station, unless you take the 9.30 in which case only a motor will meet you. So better take the 12.30 — Oh I do hope you can come7 —
I wonder if you saw Cat and Fiddle and found out what had happened to it8 — I am all prickles with longing for you — distraught and half wild — but your arms will make me happy — O my Beloved I do ache for you.
