No letter this morning. I wonder if you have gone to Manchester4 — I hope Miles5 is not seriously ill —
It is cold with a sharp north wind — the first day for not bathing — I hate the end of summer — Very busy with my lectures,6 and working very well — Longing for you, Beloved — All my heart is with you.
