Beloved

It was a horrid letter I sent you4 earlier today — Dear Heart I love you and ache for you — I can’t bear being away from you — I could come up Wed. if it suited you — I am too impatient to be with you to be able to settle to work. Dear loved one this is only one line to tell you of my love, and how I long for you to be successful about work and how I feel with you in that —

But I am sure it would be better to be less utterly absorbed in it, and to force yourself into other thoughts and occupations at times — it would help you I believe in the end —

My Heart’s Life I love you —

Your
B
