My Darling

Thank you for your letter3 which came this morning. — The weather here is bright and pleasant — O.4 is in bed with a cold — I am very happy being back at work — I had a lovely undisturbed morning. It was maddening in town being baulked when I was so full of ideas, but now all is well.

Would you do me a kindness? I am coming to an end of my shaving soap and can’t get any here that is decent — If you would send me a shaving-stick it would be a great comfort — I would pay you when we meet.

It seems hardly worth paying you that £10, as you are just going to pay me. So you owe me £43 [not £53]

Dear Heart take care of yourself — keep your health good — have enough to eat, and your teeth put right —

Don’t get flue5 if you can possibly help it.

Let me have news of C.A.6 whenever you write.

Goodbye Darling.

Your
B
