My dearest Darling
A letter and 2 lovely pictures of Ludlow,3 with another line, and 3 photos4 for Sassoon!5 What a lovely post. I am so glad your headache is gone, Beloved — As C.A.6 can’t have me for a month, there is no hurry about the bookshelves.7 You had better settle with him when he would like them.
My heart’s Life, I long to be with you again. This time a week ago we were starting to walk up to Countisbury8 — it seems 100 years — I do miss you, my Cherub —
Shall I come Fri. or Sat. and where shall we be? When does rehearsal9 end Sat? I am glad you feel it worth while, and don’t regret France10 —
Post going — All my love my dear one.
