Beloved

It was blessed to get your letter this morning written after it was all over4 —  I was happy —  Thank Heaven —

They told me yesterday that you were to be left to sleep so I couldn’t get to you directly. But they assured me you were all right —

I didn’t think you horrid Sat. — I quite realized the operation hanging over you — it was hanging over me just in the same way.

Get well quick Darling and come to the sea and the beauty that is balm to the spirit.

All all my love Cherub
