Translation: There is not the slightest reason for you to be unhappy — I love you, and I will learn to understand you — When I understand, I will suffer much less. Don’t lose hope — that is the only thing which would be fatal — I will never abandon you — As long as the quality of love remains, suffering will not strike at its core.

I love you from the bottom of my soul. I was very happy at Lulworth and I shall be happy again in the time to come.
