My Heart’s Love
It is heavenly to think of your letter on its way to the Cat and Fiddle3 — O my Darling I do want to be there with you — but I can’t bring myself to believe it will happen — I feel sure something will prevent it at the very last moment.
You needn’t feel shy of me or afraid to let yourself go — I never feel your love ungentle — As long as I feel your love, I am happy.
I hadn’t one moment to write till 2 minutes this morning and then I had to post it — it was only one line.4 I had been longing for a letter — your letter was a great joy when it came. —Tomorrow at 11 — it will be lovely.
Our day was divine5 — only I was sorry you got so tired.
Start for Buxton at 12 on Wed. 14 (St. Pancras). We can get back on Sunday 18th — there is a train.
My beautiful loved one, I can’t tell you the longing I have for you — it is a terrible ache —
B.
