My Darling Love
Your two little letters written yesterday both arrived this afternoon. I am very sorry I am not in London, to see you even for a short time, but your telegram made me think it was hopeless, so I put off Sanger and the dentist to save a journey. I will come up Sunday night arriving Paddn. 9.10, unless you can’t be early Monday. I do hope nothing will interfere with a long day Monday — I am so longing to be with you. The Whiteheads père et mère have just arrived, which I am glad of. I was beginning to feel the need of grown-up people. I find I am no good for work yet, and time passes slowly, but it will be all right when I have been with you again. I am very sorry I didn’t let you know yesterday that I wasn’t coming today. It didn’t occur to me that we might have met after all — I fancied your day quite full.
Dear Heart I can’t write anything except that I long for you and can hardly live through the hours till Monday — All my love is with you my Darling.
