My Darling Love
Here is the last letter I shall send to you abroad. By this time I suppose you are arriving at the Saints Pères — I wonder if you are very tired, whether you had a terribly hot journey, and how you are altogether — I had a nice lunch at Hampstead Square — Mr Davies seemed well — he talked much better than a while ago. Margaret was very full of her Coop. Women’s Congress, where she had carried a resolution for divorce by mutual consent, which greatly pleased her. Then I called on Isabel Fry who was out, then came home and read Spinoza who gave me exactly what I wanted. Then I dined with Ray and Oliver — Pippa Strachey was the only other person. Ray was very silent — I liked her no better than of old. Oliver and I discussed various points in philosophy — he has brains, but is lazy. It has been baking hot and I have managed to get a great deal of air and exercise which has done me good. But my cold has made me rather dead.
Now I must go to bed. Goodnight my Darling. Two days hence you will be at home! I still can’t realize it — it has seemed an eternity — as if we had only met in some previous existence. My heart is with you every moment Dearest. I love you I love you.

B
