Darling Darling,
Your letter which I got this morninga was so sad, it troubles me — I feel you are discouraged — I fear you are very ill and weary, and feeling that you don’t get better — but you really do Dearest. — I think of the long times together we shall have when you come back from Lausanne — there will be so much to speak about. I shall be writing about “The place of good and evil in the universe” — if it is written properly it ought to be important — if so, it will be yours as much as mine — Don’t feel you can’t work and are useless — you can and do work through those who care for you. — But I feel perhaps you are quite happy by this time again — it is hateful when letters take so long — Dear dear love, I love you love you love you with all my soul and strength, more and more deeply and truly and firmly — Be happy Darling if you can.
