My Darling
I have had no letter from you since the one you posted at Folkestone — I know you haven’t much time travelling, but I am beginning to feel a little anxious — perhaps I shall find a letter in London tonight. I hope nothing is wrong. — I go up after tea, to dine at Karin’s and meet the Russian Countess’s Bergsonian brother, whose writing on philosophy doesn’t please me — however, perhaps he won’t be so bad — anyhow he will be a type to add to one’s museum. — I am getting through my 10 pages of writing, in spite of going to London. But they consist mostly of quotations from James and Mach. (Mach is the little book I was reading in the winter at the Beetle and Wedge, that I thought so good.) Nothing of any sort or kind has happened to me outside my writing — I am enjoying that very much. Now I must go back to work if I am to finish my daily 10 pages. — My thoughts are always with you every moment. Goodbye Darling.
