Darling

Your little letter of Friday night reached me this morning and was a great joy. I have only one moment here. I found them established here all right — Whitehead has lumbago, North a bit seedy, Mrs W. pretending to be well — Geach staying here. My absence of moustache caused horror — W. likes it, Mrs W. says it is better looking but not so nice.

This has to be posted in Marlborough and I have great difficulty in getting it written. I am sorry you are so tired. Goodbye Dearest. All well with me — it won’t be a depressing visit.

Your loving
B
